M. Fuad A. Akbar was associated with North Africa Holding (NorAH) in 2010 and has been advising on the Company’s strategy and expansion plan in the North African region on various industry sectors.

Mr Akbar joined Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company (QPIC), in 2008. He manages and is involved in the development of new projects, companies’ infrastructure and strategies with strength in team building, leadership, business development and communication.

Mr. Akbar started off his career by working for Abdulrahim Akbar Trading & Contracting Company which is a family owned business as Chairman and Managing Director and established new ventures in Kuwait, UK, Italy and Egypt.

Mr. Akbar has previously worked for Independent Petroleum Group as Manager – Business Development Division, Gulf Investment Corporation as a Senior Investment Manager, Manufacturing Projects Division, Khaldiya Electronics, Public Authority for Assessment of Compensations (PAAC).

Mr. Akbar is currently a member of many Executive, Auditing and Business Development Board Committees but previously and up to 2008: Industrial Fibers (Ibn Rushd), KSA, National Petrochemical Industrialization (NPIC), KSA, Titanium Dioxide (Cristal), KSA and Saudi Polyolefin (SPC), KSA.

Mr. Akbar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Miami, Florida, USA.
